EVALUATION ASSIGNMENT

Study on the Acceptance of the Advanced Training Certificate "Certified Business Administrator" (WFachwPrV)

Funding information

BMBF

Project duration: 01.11.2016 – 31.01.2018

Project concept

Initial situation

Since September 2008, the training programme "Certified Business Administrator" has been a nationally recognised advanced training qualification for commercial and administrative professions. Even though the number of participants in the training programme is continuously increasing, there is still a lack of empirically supported findings on the attractiveness and acceptance of the qualification among graduates.

Target groups and their benefits

The project focuses on training graduates and participants of the training qualification "Certified Business Administrator" as well as companies that have employees who are interested in this training.

Project goal

The aim of the project is to examine the acceptance of the further training qualification "Certified Business Administrator" from the perspective of further training graduates as well as managers in companies. The aim is to identify factors relevant to decision-making and to determine the benefits of continuing education. In particular, it will be examined what value generalist qualifications have for companies in comparison with similar, more specialised further training and also degree courses.

Role of ISOB
