Project concept

Initial situation

The pandemic has highlighted the need to accelerate the introduction and market uptake of digital health technologies. This latest transformational innovation in Europe offers the opportunity to revolutionize the healthcare sector through collaboration and innovative learning and exchange formats.

Target groups and their benefits

The Health2Innovation project is aimed at higher education institutions, incubators, VET providers, SMEs and tech experts from Europe to share best practices and jointly develop an educational resource for students. The educational resources include topics such as digital health, data literacy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and will be implemented in various formats, including a hybrid learning course, mobile app and a bootcamp.

Project goal

The Health2Innovation project aims to inspire and empower students to develop entrepreneurial concepts and project ideas for innovative, digital health technologies. To this end, special educational formats are being developed that focus on the skills needed in a digitally transformed healthcare sector.

Role of ISOB

ISOB is responsible for internal quality control and accompanying scientific research in the Health2Innovation project. ISOB also supports the dissemination of the project results.

  • Conducting an initial cross-country study 
  • Establishment of Health2Innovation training courses and development of learning resources
  • Conception of a Health2Innovation Digital Learning Hub and Mobile App as well as Bootcamp for health innovations
  • Development and implementation of a Health2Innovation teaching program
  • Development of policy recommendations and dissemination activities
