situation<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The European Union has been pursuing a policy to promote these competences since the recommendations for \"Eight Key Competences for Lifelong Learning\". However, many groups of potential learners have limited access to educational opportunities that promote these competences.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Target groups and their benefits<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The KeyComKit project targets adults with a lack of basic education or educational gaps who are at risk of social exclusion (e.g. immigrants, early school leavers, educationally disadvantaged women, adults over 55, ex-young offenders, low-skilled workers). To promote the eight key competences, providers and education professionals involved in the design and planning of education and training interventions should be targeted.<\/span><\/p><p><strong>Project goal<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The KeyComKit project aims to develop a range of high quality training materials aimed at the acquisition of the eight key competences for lifelong learning. The curriculum aims to strengthen and improve personal development, social inclusion and access to employment for socially disadvantaged adults. <\/span><\/p><p><strong>Role of ISOB<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ISOB prepares contributions for the situation analysis in Germany, leads the internal quality assurance and self-evaluation of the project
