Initial situation<\/strong><\/p>

At the time of planning the pilot project, many micro-enterprises in the region were not in a position to provide training. Therefore, there was usually also a lack of systematic consideration of which competences were needed for future developments and how they could be secured. Due to the scepticism about the benefit of in-company training for the company, the ongoing reorganisation and updating of training occupations was hardly or not at all pursued, which, however, also limited the development of a forward-looking personnel policy.<\/span><\/p>

At the same time, there were many young people willing to train who could not find suitable training places with career development opportunities. In structurally weak regions, this resulted in migration to other federal states, a lack of prospects, drop-outs and direct entry into professions without training requirements.<\/span><\/p>

Target groups and their benefits<\/strong><\/p>

The KOMPLAN project was aimed at regional micro-enterprises (< 20 employees) in the East Thuringia region that have not yet trained, no longer train or would like to train in new occupations. In particular, apprenticeship applicants, i.e. pupils in final year classes and school leavers from secondary schools looking for dual training places in the region, were addressed.<\/span><\/p>

Project goal<\/strong><\/p>

The KOMPLAN project aimed to increase the attractiveness of training for micro enterprises by emphasising the strategic component of enterprise development as an incentive to expand training activities. For this purpose, training competence was improved (including personnel requirement planning, requirement profiles, strategies in employer marketing and recruitment).<\/span><\/p>

At the same time, young people were supported in broadening their range of career choices by seeing their own competences and development perspectives in connection with company requirement profiles. Their self-reflection and self-portrayal were improved, which increased their chances of training in regional micro-enterprises.<\/span><\/p>

Role of ISOB<\/strong><\/p>
